Children living outside the school zone can make an out-of-zone application, with places for out-of-zone children being allotted by way of a ballot. The Board of Trustees decide each August how many places will be available (if any). They take into account exisiting and projected rolls as it is preferred to have two classes at each year level to avoid composite classes e.g. mixed year groups. If an out of zone ballot is to be held, it will be advertised in the Central Leader.
2018 BALLOT FOR OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENTS
We will be holding a ballot on Tuesday 24th October 2017 for out-of-zone enrolments.
The Board has determined that places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students in the following year levels: Year 0 (children who turn 5 on or after 1 June 2018), Year 1 (children who turn 5 before 1 June 2018), Year 4, Year 7 and Year 8. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school's home zone.
The closing date for out-of-zone applications will be Tuesday 17 October 2017.
