Kohia Terrace School operates 16 classrooms with generally two classes at each year level. The school is divided into three teams:

| Harakeke Team | Years 4, 5 and 6 |
| Pohutukawa Team | Years 7 and 8 |
Experienced learning assistants support students in classrooms and our office staff are available to help with any enquiries.
