Enrolment

The following information is intended to provide you with all the information you need in order to enrol at Kohia Terrace School.   We do operate a zone and therefore need to follow a clear and detailed process in order to maintain the school at its optimal size.

Subject to the provisions of the Education Act 1-989 (as amended), all students who live within the home zone described in the Home Zone schedule are entitled to enrol at the school. Proof that the applicant lives within the home zone, by statutory declaration included in the Enrolment Application form, is required.

Each year, applications for enrolment in the following year from in-zone students will be sought by a date that will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.  This will enable the Board of the school to assess the number of places that can be made available to students who live outside the home zone.

If you have any enquires, please do not hesitate to contact the school 09 630 4525 or email our enrolment officer Florin Hsiao (florin@kts.school.nz).
