Welcome Note

Welcome to Kohia Terrace School.

It has been my pleasure to be the Principal of this great community-based school for the last 3 years. We are a full primary offering quality learning opportunites to our Year 1 to Year 8 students.

"The  power to dream and the passion to achieve"  - our vision drives much of our decision making.  Our house icons  (Hillary, Snell, Sheppard, Te Kanawa) have influenced our four cornerstones; excelling through effort, reaching for the sky, nurturing the human spirit and leading the way.  These cornerstones  underpin the 'KTS Learner' attributes of self belief, connected, empowered and equipped and these in turn also form the foundation of the 'KTS Teacher'.

We are fortunate to have amazing parent help and involvement in the school at both the governance and community level.  Our PTA are eager to organise community events to strengthen school spirit whilst, at times, supporting the school through thrilling fundraising events.
